Every price we charge in New Malden is on this page. The same figures apply to an Edwardian terrace by the railway, a 1930s semi on Cavendish Road and a five bedroom house up towards Coombe, and they are what you pay, not an opening bid to get us through the door. If something about your job is unusual, we’ll raise it when you book.
End of tenancy
| Job | Price |
|---|---|
| Studio flat | £156 |
| One bedroom | £207 |
| Two bedrooms | £243 |
| Three bedrooms | £339 |
| Four bedrooms | £425 |
We clean everything in the home: cupboards on both faces, descaled bathrooms, skirtings and doors, with the floors saved for last. The price follows the size of the home, not our hours, so a roomy two bed costs the same as a compact one. If a check-out clerk queries anything, we re-clean it free within 48 hours. Carpets and the oven are extras. A two bed with the oven done, for example, comes to £274, and we’ll mention both on the phone. Details are on the end of tenancy page.
Carpet cleaning
| Job | Price |
|---|---|
| Carpet, one bedroom | £36 |
| Lounge | £43 |
| Knock-through lounge | £61 |
| Flight of stairs | £41 |
| Rug, under 3m² | £35 |
| Rug over 3m² | £51 |
| Bedroom carpet, booked with a tenancy clean | £29 |
| Living room carpet, alongside an end of tenancy | £36 |
| Flight of stairs, alongside an end of tenancy | £35 |
We use hot water extraction. Give it a couple of hours before walking about, and five or six to dry through. A through lounge counts as one space at £61, which comes up in the older terraces north of the railway where front and back rooms still run together. Stairs with a turn part-way up still count as a single £41 flight. The supply here is chalk-fed, so we soften the rinse water, free, to stop wool drying with a grey cast. Drying advice and stain treatment are on the carpet cleaning page.
Oven cleaning
| Job | Price |
|---|---|
| Single oven clean | £77 |
| Two-cavity oven | £110 |
| Single wide oven | £114 |
| Range cooker (90cm) | £143 |
| Master range, 100cm | £167 |
| AGA (two ovens) | £143 |
| Glass or ceramic hob | £23 |
| Gas hob | £28 |
| Cooker hood | £28 |
| Oven, booked with a tenancy clean | £31 |
Priced by appliance. Racks and trays are soaked separately, and the inside of the oven, its glass and its seals are hand-cleaned in your kitchen. Double ovens aren’t charged twice, and a built-in oven whose grill shares the cavity is billed as a single. A hob is £23 extra (£28 for gas) and an extractor £28, and near the High Street the hood is often the grubbier half of the work. How the clean works is set out on the oven cleaning page.
Regular cleaning
| Frequency | Hourly rate, each cleaner |
|---|---|
| Weekly | £23 |
| Fortnightly | £24 |
Three hours a week comes to £69, and four hours to £92. Nothing is charged for turning up. We don’t book fewer than three hours, since a shorter visit barely gets going. Ironing is £12 an hour on top of the cleaning time, and the regular cleaning page shows what each length of visit usually covers.
One-off deep clean
This is a team service, separate from weekly visits. Each cleaner costs £26 an hour, we never send fewer than two for fewer than three hours, and the kit adds £30, so £186 is where bookings start. Two cleaners for four hours is £238, and three for three hours £264. More worked examples are on the deep cleaning page.
Minimum charge
One-off work has a £67 minimum. Most jobs clear it without anyone noticing, although a single carpeted room on its own would be charged at that. Regular hourly cleaning is exempt, so the shortest weekly visit, three hours, really does cost £69.
Costs outside the list
Parking, where a street charges for it, goes on the invoice at exactly what we paid. Degreasing for High Street restaurants and bakeries is quoted per site.
Where these prices apply
New Malden and the neighbouring areas across KT2, KT3, KT4, KT5 and SW20. Driving further costs you nothing, and neither does living over a postcode line, so the prices above hold wherever you are. The areas page describes each neighbourhood, and the contact page has our opening hours.
Questions we get asked
How does payment work?
Pay by card or bank transfer. Regular customers can settle monthly by transfer instead. Full booking, cancellation and liability terms are on our terms page.
Could the price go up after you arrive?
Only where the job turns out plainly bigger than the one you described, and in that case you hear about it before any work begins. A tenancy clean price holds for normal wear, and carpets and the oven are the only add-ons.
What’s the smallest job you’ll do?
£67, the minimum for one-off work. A single oven at £77 passes it on its own, as do two carpeted rooms. Weekly and fortnightly cleaning has no minimum charge, but each visit runs to three hours or more, because less rarely achieves much.
